Assistant Professor of Philosophy
The Department of Philosophy at Westmont College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant rank to begin August 2026. Seeking candidates with specialization in the area of Epistemology, and concentration in the history of philosophy (especially modern and contemporary) and philosophy of language. Responsible for teaching six undergraduate courses per year (five preparations; one introductory philosophy course each semester). Summer teaching available. Candidates to hold a Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
